The Gift of New Beginnings

Have you thought about how loving God was to create days and nights, seasons and years?
Think about it for a moment . . . WHAT IF HE HADN’T?

Life would be just ONE very long day! You might never age but neither would you ever rest!

There is a lot of debate about what time of the year Jesus was actually born but I for one am glad we celebrate Christmas just a week before New Years!
Why?!
Christmas brings awareness of God coming to be with us and THEN we get to put the “old” year behind us and we get to start again! How depressing would it be if you have a “bad” day when life is just ONE long day!?!

We talk about everyone has a past and everyone has the opportunity to take a next step BUT what if, ALL of life was always TODAY?!?

THANK GOD for being a God of New Beginnings and for the gift of many opportunities to take a fresh start! When you look back on this year, what do you want to be able to celebrate?
Start preparing for that celebration NOW!

Are there any prayers, you are afraid to pray? Sure, some prayers may require more prayer than others but whenever there is a prayer I find myself afraid to pray, I confess that and ask my Heavenly Father to help me grow my faith.

One of the best new books of 2020 was Craig Groeschelle’s Dangerous Prayers! It was something that I and the staff snapped up and spent weeks, not just studying it but applying it! It is also a great Bible Reading Plan in the YouVersion Bible! I hope you will check out both of them!
