PREPARING FOR GLS
Nothing easier to forgo than to an unknown blessing but please don’t let this blessing pass you by!

1. REGISTER

Plan how you will take notes and pray that nothing will hinder you or others from coming ready to receive what God has for us.
3. COME
Don’t let anything keep you from attending! The schedule is as follows: Thursday and Friday, August 3-4 from 9:00am to 3:30pm (approx).
4. LISTEN
Notice what catches your attention and inquire of the Lord, “Is that for me?” I take two categories of notes: 1) Content and 2) Action Steps.
5. APPLY
Each evening, Kim and I usually debrief together with “What stood out to you?” Then I also have debriefing sessions with the church staff and our elders where we share “Top Action Steps.” In those sessions we all come with three things that we believe God intends for us to begin doing.

Over the years, God has used GLS probably more than anything except my own bible study and prayer, to shape my life and ministry. I believe if you invest the time and come with an open mind, God will do the same for you.
Over the years, GLS became a non-negotiable in Kim’s schedule too. She invited colleagues who then became regulars and then invited others. It all started in 2007 when someone paid for my way and we have been paying it forward ever since!
