Will You Join In?!
You may not be ready to see Christmas decorations popping up in stores, but for us, it’s time for Operation Christmas Child to get underway so that they gifts of God’s love can reach the arms of children around the world in time for Christmas! This year, Operation Christmas Child will celebrate its 30th year of ministry!
Here’s how it works
1. We pick up a box from church and prayerfully fill it with age-appropriate gifts (instructions are provided)
2. Go online to register your box(es) and pay for the shipping cost to have it delivered.
3. Bring it/them back to church by October 29.
4. We deliver our boxes to a central drop-off location and Samaritan’s Purse does the rest

Here’s what happens
1. Samaritan’s Purse includes with each box, an explanation of the Good News of Jesus and an invitation to “The Greatest Journey.”
2. 50% of the children who receive the boxes accept the invitation to The Greatest Journey.
3. 50% of the children attending The Greatest Journey receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 209 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries and territories. In 2023, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 11 million children. Click here to learn more!

Facebook Woes
We have a situation where Facebook says they have disabled our account due to alleged copyright issues. They have given us the list of “offenses” and in my candid opinion, they are bogus but we are being given no recourse. PLEASE PRAY FOR A RESOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. In the meantime, our livestream may be accessed on YouTube or our website.
We have also been experiencing many problems with our internet provider and Cox is aware of the problems but they are struggling to find a workable solution. We have purchased a hotspot from T-Mobile to use for our livestream and Children’s Check-In (which has also been affected). PLEASE ALSO PRAY THAT TECHNOLOGY WILL ENHANCE AND NOT HINDER THE MISSION OF OUR CHURCH.
