Did You Survive “Quitter Friday”?
It is estimated that between 80-90% of people abandon their new resolutions by the end of January and the second Friday in January is considered to be the point in which most people have given up trying.
How are you doing?
In a way to combat this, we set goals, rather than resolutions(as I encouraged you to do in a recent blog) and we make them SMART because our thinking is that aiming at a goal but falling short will yield something greater than not aiming for anything at all.
You’ve heard the saying, “Aim at nothing and you will hit it every time.” So how about you? “Everyone has a past and a next step” so what “next steps” are you planning in 2025?
I am enjoying reading through the Bible with The Bible Recap, I FaceTime my mother at least twice a month, I am wanting to cook something healthy once a week for Kim and I. I want to clean out my email inboxes daily . . . and more.
My “word” for the year is “Healthy”
Am I hitting them all? Absolutely not, BUT I am “winning” by setting goals and achieving more than I would if I just got up each day and did what I felt like doing.
I encourage you to do the same. Never give up!
