Upcoming Changes

Here is Graham in his new (bare) office! In keeping with our focus on making disciples, he started this week as the Discipleship Pastor! His first order of business will be to begin preparing for the Fall groups semester. I’m excited about what he is going to help us do!
 
Core Functions (from Graham’s Ministry Description): 

1. Manage the Engage Process.
2. Cross collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure a churchwide cohesive discipleship process that leads to spiritual maturity.   
3. Lead and oversee TMC small group ministry to produce spiritual mature people who care for one another.
4. Serve as a member of the teaching team
5. Help make TMC a great place to invest a life-changing dollar

Have you noticed how people have been coming back! We have had a “full” feeling in the auditorium for our worship gatherings for months and last weekend there was a record number of kids exceeding the number of children who came for Easter!

All three gathering times will be different: 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am.
Each gathering will have children’s ministry available. Initially, the 8:00am service will have a large group children’s gathering. Each of the worship gatherings are ready to expand as the number of children continues to grow.

The mask only room has been an important way for us to value people who wanted a little more protection from the crowds until they were ready to transition back to in-person worship gatherings. As the attendance at our gatherings filled the worship center, we kept the room open a little longer but with the addition of the third service and the need for more children’s ministry space once again, the time has come to discontinue the Masks Only Room and return the modular to the children’s ministry for their use.

In July, we will eat dinner outside under the canopy while inside - pending the weather allows - and our Prayer Coordinator, Dave Gibbs, plans to implement some musical worship into the hour.

This month will also see the end of online prayer on First Tuesdays. We want to do some different things in the room and will try to have online prayer occasionally at other times but participation on Tuesdays has been declining. We hope to see you in person on Tuesday!
