GOOD NEWS OF A CHRISTMAS PAST AND EXCITEMENT FOR THE ONE AHEAD!
One of the first signs that Christmas is coming is the sound of bells ringing outside the stores in our community. Recently, the Salvation Army held its annual Red Kettle Kickoff breakfast.
The year before, I listened to two local organizations playfully debate which of them would win the next year. I remember thinking, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if a church surprised them and took the lead? What a witness that would be to our community!”
I was in Dallas for my mom’s surgery, but to my surprise—and to the surprise of many in the room—the group that “rang in" the most money last year was none other than Thunder Mountain Church!

This year, our staff will ring again on December 5 at Fry’s, and the money raised during our shift counts toward TMC’s total. But last year, it wasn’t just the staff shift that put us over the top—it was all of you who signed up as ringers and selected Thunder Mountain Church as your group.

If you want to help again this year, go to registertoring.com, choose “I’m ringing with an individual,” search Sierra Vista, AZ, and pick your date and shift. When you select your shift, be sure to check the box to associate with a group and choose Thunder Mountain Church. (You will need to create a login.) https://www.registertoring.com
Also, please direct your personal Salvation Army kettle donations through TMC ringers—for the glory of God. I love when our community sees the Church as a source of blessing! And come see us at Frys on Dec. 5th all day!
