Easter At Thunder Mountain

Easter is Coming

Since the question every year is “When Is Easter?”  I’m going to tell you so that you can circle the dates on your calendar. Friday, April 15 will start our Good Friday Prayer walk. It will be set up for you to come and pray at the stations around the perimeter of the property before work or after work culminating with communion. It was so moving last year that I went around a few times!
Sunrise that morning will be about 5:50am and sunset will be 6:50pm

2022 Easter Weekend Worship Gatherings

April 16th - Saturday, 4:00pm
April 17th - Sunday: 8:00, 9:30, & 11:00am

Because our current 9:30 gathering is full each week already and the other two don’t have a lot of room, we are encouraging as many people as possible to come on Saturday unless they are bringing guests who want to come on Sunday.
I say every year that Saturday Easter Gatherings are the “Faith Services” because nobody saw any reason to worship on the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday when everybody thought Jesus was dead. So come and worship knowing what Jesus WILL do!
A few weeks beforehand, we will have invite cards for you to share. You can start praying now about who the Lord would lead you to invite.
TMC Mortgage Update
Progress continues to be made! Keep in mind that we refinanced $1,330,000 in 2012 and added $1,097,637 in construction costs through Relentless Love for a total investment over the last ten years of $2,427,637.
THAT amount has dropped below $200,000 with our current balance down to $192,738!
The Relentless Love fund is closed but we have opened a Building Fund. Kim and I have chosen, in addition to our regular giving,  to continue giving half of what we gave to Relentless Love to this fund because we realize that we will all need to do everything we can in order to build again. We invite you to pray about joining us in this. Last month there were 26 of us who did!

Next Easter, we hope to launch our next capital initiative to prepare to build the worship and connection space we could really use now!
