Equipped Classes Start This Week

In our desire to “be disciples who make disciples”, we want to provide ways for you to gain valuable knowledge and skills in a variety of ways that will equip us in this process. Childcare is available during these Thursday evening classes and each class differs in duration. I invite you to consider joining us for one of these classes offered this semester. Finances
How are you “winning” with money? Joe Farmer will lead us in a study of Joe Sangl’s I Was Broke and Now I’m Not course aimed at helping us manage our finances in a way that will maximize the blessings that God is providing for us.

Hebrews
Justin McPeak and Jonathan Reese will be team-teaching this Bible study of a fascinating and unique book in the New Testament! Come and grow in appreciating and understanding who Jesus is and what He has done for us!

Evidence that Demands a Verdict
Alan Claytor will be facilitating a study that focuses on the material produced by Josh and Sean McDowell. As Josh said years ago, “The heart can’t rejoice over what the mind rejects” BUT because our faith is in God who stepped into history, there are MANY reasons to believe. This class will both grow our faith as well as equip us to help grow the faith of those whose lives we are given the privilege of touching.

Ministry Leadership Course (MLC)
This class is considered our “Foundations of Leadership” in our “pipeline”, and I am excited to open session one this Thursday! Justin will teach the three Thursdays while I am away, and then I will finish the semester with the final six sessions.
The ten foundational sessions are organized into these three sections:
  1. Know Your Calling
  2. Form Your Convictions
  3. Build Your Team
