Project Serve
Reaching out, touching lives, and growing people to know, love, and serve Jesus!
Our 10th Project Serve is this Sunday where we cancel our regular worship gatherings and do our “worship-service” out in the community.
If you are new to TMC, this is a GREAT opportunity to get connected with people too! Every year, I make memories and meaningful connections with people that last a lifetime!
Whatever it is that you like about your church, there is a good chance that what you like is reflected in some way in Project Serve
Project Serve accomplishes ALL OF THAT. It is our opportunity to not just be “hearers of the word” but to be “doers”! It is our reminder to ourselves
This is a weekend to strengthen our commitments to our values and not let ourselves slip into the complacency of letting talk substitute for actions.
WE NEED YOU!
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15b (NIV)
P.S. If you haven’t signed up yet, please come anyway, but come a little early (7:00 am rather than 7:30) so we can get you assigned to a team.
PPS - I was asked to do a memorial service for a friend of someone who attends TMC, whose mother passed away but didn’t have a home church. They had already scheduled it for 10:00am on August 31. I will be able to serve an hour before I have to go clean up and do the service. I will be back to greet everyone at lunch but I wanted to let everyone know what I was doing without announcing it publicly from the stage that morning.

- The church is people!
- Outreach is the heartbeat of TMC!
- TMC is not confined to the four walls of our building
- People are more important than buildings (or the carpet)
- We want to be a church known for what we are FOR
- We want our community to ALWAYS see our hands outstretched to GIVE and not to TAKE.
- We want to have a strong volunteer culture.
- We seek to grow a spirit of generosity in all people.
- We want people outside of our four walls to experience the unconditional love of Jesus!
