New Series, Big Announcement

Have you noticed how God’s calling simultaneously provides opportunities to experience Him in ways that change lives for generations that, at the same time, often require extraordinary faith and courage?

This week, we launch our new series, Joshua: Faith and Courage, which will be a defining moment in the history of Thunder Mountain Church!

“The next person through the door . . . “

“. . . . is fortunate if they can find a seat.” In an era when an auditorium is “Full” when 70% of seats are occupied, we have two services whose average capacity has been 88% and 93% full ALL YEAR, including 95% and 100% in August. We literally have people sitting outside in overflow in at least two services, twelve months out of the year. Over the past  year, we have averaged over 1,000 in Sunday attendance, and we are maxed out with our four services

We have a window to build!

The firm that was hired to design the building that we need has told us that they expect to have building permits “near the end of the first quarter next year.” Once issued, permits have a tight window before they expire, and if we can capitalize on this opportunity, we can be in the building by Christmas of 2029!

How do we do it?

THAT will be presented this Sunday! May we have the faith and courage to meet this task!

God's vision for TMC isn't just about us as a fellowship, it's about 43.000 souls in our area. Sure, there are other good churches preaching the word so that the lost can be saved. May God bless them and multiply the fruits of their labors! But clearly TMC is reaching many who have not found a home elsewhere. My heart breaks for the thought of someone coming through our doors and then leaving because we couldn't squeeze them in. Developing a building big enough to meet the needs of so many people is a great undertaking requiring great faith, but the need is real, the motivation is pure, and our God is greater than a thousand obstacles.
