TMC Outreach Center
The outpouring of enthusiasm from people in our community for our purchase of the Circle K for the TMC Outreach Center has been overwhelming! People approaching me at the gym, coming up to Justin and I at the coffeeshop to a member of another church offering people to help staff it, and especially the support from the business community.

Because we ONLY want our community to see our “hand” reaching out to GIVE, we won’t solicit money from outside the Thunder Mountain Church, BUT GOD IS MOVING!
So far . . .
Word must be getting out because the demand for food has increased dramatically! We have been buying food to give away, but this has been possible because of your generosity to the General Fund of the church.
When the Easter offering gets tabulated, I will let you know what that was, but we are trying to make it stretch.
People have been asking when we will open. Until we get the electricity on it will remain up in the air. We just know we will need plenty of food once we open in order to sustain the need that continues to increase.
Land!
Also, because of your generosity, we were able to acquire an additional 14 acres of land, and we officially closed several days before Easter.
We would like to be able to use this land for community purposes, which would make our ramada a central hub of activity. Development of this land is a lower priority than the construction of a new worship center, but should someone approach us with the desire to finance the construction of ballfields with synthetic turf, we would jump at the chance.
Here are the two parcels, which you can see situated below our current 10 acres (which are still separate 5-acre parcels).
So far . . .
- Prestige Remodeling painted the exterior of the building (at no cost to us). Sherwin Williams offered a generous discount on the paint (which Prestige paid for also)
- Multiple electricians have offered to help. We selected one and met with the city and the fire marshal to determine exactly what will be required to get the building up to code, so the electricity can be turned on (and make sure it doesn’t burn down)
- People have been calling with donations of refrigerators and freezers.
- I was told Bergs wanted to offer to install air conditioning for free (currently, there are three swamp coolers).

There is more that we could acquire, but we thought that these two purchases (Outreach Center and this land) would be crucial at this time. It would have been far more expensive to build the Outreach Center into the new building, and with the formation of the Master Plan, we especially wanted the 8 acres below to be included in the planning.
People ask about where they should donate. Your General Fund giving has financed ALL of this! Our General Fund finances the ministry of our church, and outreach is part of our mission (i.e., reaching out, touching lives, and growing people), and our general fund income is a key component in the amount of money we will be approved to borrow.
THANK YOU for your generosity, and I pray that you find great joy in the returns that are being realized on your investments!
PLEASE NOTE: ON SUNDAY, APRIL 26 ALL WORSHIP GATHERINGS IN THE BUILDING WILL BE CANCELLED SO THAT WE CAN SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH WORSHIP SERVICE IN THE PARK.
Your generosity has been instrumental in bringing this as well as the Saturday AZ Rise Music Festival to Sierra Vista. According to the city’s metrics, over 10,000 came to last year’s festival.
