Easter Is This Week
Easter is not only the foundation of our faith as evidence of the resurrection, but it is also one of our major outreach events of the year because it is a day when many people who wouldn’t otherwise come to church would say, “yes” to an invitation from a trusted friend.
1.) When to come?
If you are bringing a friend, come with that friend (Sunday worship times are unchanged) but otherwise, please consider coming to one of our Saturday Easter worship gatherings (3:00p and 4:30p).
2.) Where to park?
Think of the people who are coming for the first time and are probably a little nervous and may get discouraged (or leave) if they can’t find a place to part (or to sit). Let’s be the ones who park at a distance so that our new guests may be able to find a place up close.
3.) Where to sit?
In the past, we have had people come on Easter and leave because they couldn’t find a place to sit. They aren’t just looking for an available seat, but one that is easily accessible (near the aisle) so let’s be the ones who sit in the middle of the row (towards the front) and leave the aisle seats for others.
4.) When to serve?
Easter is also the time when we need maximum participation in our many serving opportunities. It’s also a time when many people don't just serve, but discover the joy of serving and make it a lifestyle. Maybe that will be you this year? If you want to help make TMC a place where people want to come back to!
GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER WALK
Starting at sunrise on Friday and extending throughout the weekend, you may come experience our self-guided prayer walk. Simply come to the front of the building, read the instructions and follow the arrows painted on the ground from station to station that complete a full circle around the property.
