The King Confronts Misperceptions

The premise behind THE KING REVEALED is that a relationship with Jesus requires that we relate to Him AS HE IS, not how we THINK HE SHOULD BE.

Jesus honored his hometown by announcing there that HE was the fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah 61, but they couldn’t overcome their perceptions of him as a boy growing up in their midst. For the people in Nazareth, they ruined Jesus’ homecoming by driving him from the synagogue and threatened to push him off a cliff.

What caused their misperceptions? Failing to understand what we see can negatively impact our relationships with God. In this message we identify three common misperceptions and how to correct them so we can know, love, and serve Jesus!
