The King Confronts Hard Hearts

If you were to talk to many people about why they stepped away from the church, odds are good that hypocrisy would be a big reason mentioned again and again. Seeing people week after week pretending to be something they’re not, or holding others to standards they aren’t meeting became too much to ignore. That's why as a church we say: "everyone has a past and a next step". And if all of us have a past there's no need to pretend we’ve got everything figured out and we’re all put together. Yet at the same time everyone has a future, a hope, and a next step to take in growing a relationship with Jesus. In this message, we'll see how Jesus confronted hypocrisy in leaders of His day, we'll discover how none of us our immune, and we'll be encouraged to take our next step regardless of the cost!
