Walk in One Life

The Bible is pretty clear when it says in Jesus we've been born again and made new. But what happens when we don't feel new? And for many people there's fear in being labeled a hypocrite because we're supposed to be new but at the same time we still struggle with who we used to be. How do we walk in one life as our new self despite the struggle of our old self still popping up? How do we avoid being or feeling like a hypocrite in light of that struggle?
