Advent: Journey to Christmas Hope

When we’re younger, we all know what it’s like to hope for something we really want at Christmas and be disappointed. And yet the older we get, disappointment and feelings of hopelessness seem to amp up. Because we realize Christmas now doesn’t look like those of our past. Or maybe we look at the empty seats around the table and remember who isn’t there. BUT WE ALL WANT HOPE. That’s why this season we start our journey to Christmas with a story of hope that has been passed down from generation to generation! And it starts with a promise.
