Turn to God in the Pain

At some point when life is hard, each of us in asks God the tough questions. Questions like: How could You? Why did You? Where are You? And for some, they think if they can follow Jesus more or follow Him better, then life will be sorrow free. But, that just isn't true! So what do we do? How do we respond to all the pain, suffering, grief, and sorrow we experience without shutting down, giving up, or growing cynical?
