One hundred faith-goals were set! This represents precious people getting out of the boat with a focus upon Jesus and who are trusting Him with the wind and the waves! I’m excited about how God is building the faith of a great church with us!

The first week of Relentless Love we saw 100 households set goals! This totals $888,185 and $27,596 was given on the first weekend!

The wind and the waves are scary and the illusion of comfort provided by the boat IS tempting, BUT LIFE WAS MEANT TO BE LIVED OUT OF THE BOAT!

Every “wind and the waves” story told is precious to me and I wouldn’t lead us in this initiative if I wasn’t convinced that when we get out of the boat, we will grow our faith in God because JESUS WON’T LET US DROWN!

Just like at the beginning of this church, the fact that we still exist testifies to the fact that GOD IS IN THIS, and those dreams you and I have had to give up control of will become the stories we tell of God’s power and his love for us!

The things we accomplish will be SO MUCH SWEETER knowing that ONLY GOD could have made them become a reality!

As I have so often said, “When we give out the front door, God brings it in the back door! He does it not so we become wealthy as some teach, but so that we can continue to give!”

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.Luke 6:38 (NIV)

If you weren’t able to set your goals yet for Relentless Love, help us “GO FOR THE GOLD!" The Gold Goal is $1,277,400. This goal will not only pay for the expansion in three years but will also eliminate all debt so that we will be ready to build the worship and connection space we need already. If you would like, you can fill out your Goal Card online, here.

Our goal is to break ground Sunday afternoon of Celebration Weekend, which is November 10-11! I hope you can join the celebration!

It’s SO EASY to beat ourselves up for what we didn’t do right this last year BUT I want to show you how much you have to celebrate!

Sometimes we don’t know how far we’ve come until we look back!

What do ya’ say, we rewind the clock before we flip to the last page of the calendar?

Before this year winds down and we start making new year resolutions again, how about pausing to consider how far we’ve come?

Rather than kick ourselves for failed resolutions, how about looking back and considering how we can finish the year STRONG!?!

Please plan to join us for our series REWIND!

This is something that was added several months ago but we haven’t talked about its purpose or importance.

We are a church of people who choose the humble path and sacrifice to reach others.

These guest parking places are set aside for our first-time guests and are an attempt to make their experience as pleasant as possible. We try to remember what it was like to go to a new church for the first time.  There are so many challenges the rest of us can take for granted, so we created this guest lot to try to take away their stress in finding a place to park.

So, we are the ones who willingly pass by these places, to park in the overflow when it’s busy. We, who already feel comfortable at Thunder Mountain Church, are willing to walk a little further so that our newest guests can begin to become as comfortable as we are.

Thank you for the ways you contribute to making Outreach the heartbeat of this church in this important way!
