Project Serve Celebration

Posted by Randy Youngblood, Lead Pastor on

We cancelled our Sunday “services” on Labor Day weekend, and instead went out into our community to work on fifteen different projects! What a GREAT event! The feedback we have already received has been so heart-warming!

Do you realize that one of the reasons we can do this is because of the number of people who have automated their giving? When our operating income comes from automated sources, we can “afford” to cancel our services for events like Project Serve! Thank you!

I’m looking forward to going back to the Huachuca City school and seeing my mentee again! I was so excited to see him serving with our student ministry too!

If you think you would like to offer an hour a week to see what God will do with it, email Becky ( ) and ask her to tell you all about how to become a mentor or a prayer partner for Kids Hope.

I’m excited about the September series! After working with the Teaching Team and collaborating on this week's message, I can GUARANTEE you will be glad you attended and your interactions with people will be blessed! Each week, a different filter that messes with how we see life will be discussed. We will be able to recognize, remove, and replace those filters with the lens of the good news of Jesus!

What can you overcome this week to move Jesus a little closer to the center of your life? Do you realize that our spiritual growth isn’t about striving to grow? It's more about surrendering something that is taking the place God needs to be in for our lives to have maximum joy!
