Creative Arts Director–Jared McCormick

Posted by Randy Youngblood, Lead Pastor on

Jared McCormick has been serving, by leading worship, in his hometown church, since August of 2015.  He assumed the role of Creative Arts Director in November 2016, and he has been serving in that role, in addition to being the Youth Worship Director.

He and his wife Andrea feel a strong calling to TMCC, and Sierra Vista, and are very excited to bring their nearly two-year-old son, Jackson, to start the next phase of their lives with us!

We flew Jared out to attend the Global Leadership Summit with us, and what a great investment that was!  After the trip back to the airport on Monday, I was even more excited about him joining the team! I believe Jared’s passion and personality will be a great fit with us!  His humility and passion for outreach and discipleship will help us as we seek answers from God on how to fill out the vision He is giving us for our community.  Jared’s vision is beyond the walls of TMCC!  He has the same vision as we do...that we can be the church that thousands of people, who have given up on church, need us to be in order to reach them.

You will appreciate the way he will lead with a sincere heart before God, and the fruit of his ministry will be evident by the changes in the lives of people around him!

Jared arrived with his family’s belongings on Saturday, August 26, with his employment officially beginning on Monday, August 28.  In the middle of September, he will return to Indiana for a wedding he was scheduled to perform.  Andrea and Jackson will return with him on September 17.

We are collecting goods to “stock the pantry” for the McCormick’s. Jared will be bacheloring it for a little more than a couple of weeks, so keep that in mind! If you would like to contribute, you may bring your contribution by the Ministry Support Center, Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm.

This is a time of rejoicing and praising God for leading, and providing, during the 18 months of searching. In addition to, the 13 months we were without someone in that role!

I hope you noticed that Jared assumed the current role that prepared him for this calling just last November.  Often, when we are looking to God for answers, we have a hard time seeing how He is working to prepare exactly what is needed at exactly the right time!

I appreciate how He has stretched and grown me in this season!  It was a hard season, without any doubt, BUT it was also a growing season for every one of us, and for that we are all grateful!

Please join me in expressing your appreciation for Justin’s willingness to step in and fill the Worship Arts role, in addition to other responsibilities he carries here!  He is so talented and such a great teammate!  I appreciate how he brings joy to everything he does!
