Celebrate Christmas Eve with us!

Posted by Randy Youngblood, Lead Pastor on

The Christmas Eve gatherings tonight will be different from Sunday's gatherings, so please come if you can!

We will have three Christmas Eve gatherings to choose from 4:30pm, 6:00pm and 7:30pm.  Choose the one that fits with whatever plans you have for your personal Christmas traditions/celebrations! (Childcare will be available for children up to age 3.)

There will be an hour of worship in the auditorium; including six Christmas songs (two more than usual), communion, and a short message.

After you are dismissed, you will have the option of enjoying different learning experiences that will be set up in the classrooms and will be suitable for children to enjoy as well.

Christmas Offering Open Until December 30

This year’s Christmas offering will go to help with the expansion of the facilities of Lori’s Place. They do great work in aiding victims of sexual crimes that local law enforcement has come to depend upon. Our 2016 Christmas offering helped greatly when they were just starting out, and now they need to expand! This offering will be open through Dec. 30th. When giving to this offering, please use the hashtag #ChristmasOffering. You can give on our website, through the app, or by using an envelope on the weekend.

Regular Gathering Times Resume this Weekend

The new schedule was only for the weekend before Christmas (Dec. 22-23) and we will resume our regular Saturday (4:30 & 6:00pm) and Sunday (9:00 & 10:30am) schedule this weekend, Dec. 29-30!

Relentless Love Update

The project is moving along at a good pace! The sewer line has been run along Golden Acres Drive all the way to the current church building and will be connected soon.

We are looking at a way to expand the auditorium by 100 seats. This part of the project may be more extensive than planned but will be worth the expense and hassle.

Please continue to pray this initiative through! Pray that everything will stay on schedule and pray that God will use our investment to reach people and grow a church of great faith as we face the wind, get out of the boat, and walk to Jesus on the waves!

A significant amount of money has been pledged, enough to pay for this expansion plus interest, but please pray too that another 50 households will join us in this and we can also pay off the current mortgage (currently at $308,000).  Because of your giving, we are able to pay some of the costs out of pocket and keep them out of the loan!

If you are thinking about a year-end tax-deductible gift that would go to a great cause, please consider giving to #RelentlessLove. At TMC, we work hard to be the best place to invest a life-changing dollar!
