Come! Enjoy lunch! Celebrate stories of the great things God has done
Casa Esperanza Para Ninos is a "House of Hope for Children" that protects, nurtures, educates and loves abandoned and abused children in Hermosillo, Mexico.
From the words of Casa founder, Adonna Cullumber, herself:
"The stories each of our children could tell of abuse and neglect are heartbreaking. They come to us with fresh scars and bruises from beatings, cigarette burns - often broken bones - and sad, empty eyes. You can give a child bread, but there is a much deeper hunger in a soul for love. And this is exactly what makes Casa so special. Seeing the transformation that takes place in our children's spirits is believing in the power of love. There is no higher calling and no greater reward."
Casa opened in 1999 with seven children at a home in Hermosillo. In 2009, Casa purchased, and moved to, a
TMCC has partnered with Casa to support this important mission, both through financial commitments by members of this church and others in the community, as well as mission trips to Casa. Over the years, much has been accomplished by these teams who have made improvements to the housing and facilities at Casa, but even more importantly, provided a physical presence at the ranch on these trips to show the children in person the love and commitment we have for them.
This year, our guests will feature two house parents from Casa who will give us a first-hand perspective of life at Casa! Please join us at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 10 for a Casa Celebration at TMCC. Learn what has been accomplished by our mission teams in the past year, and share great news about upcoming plans for the facility.
Lunch will be provided. Please come!
